About me

Stephen Smalley is a senior researcher in the Laboratory for Advanced Cybersecurity Research at the National Security Agency, where he provides subject matter expertise and technical leadership of research in platform trust architectures and mechanisms. Previously he led the development and successful technology transfer of Security Enhancements for Android and Security-Enhanced Linux to mainline Android and Linux respectively, and continues to serve as one of the SELinux maintainers.
